Hi Point Steak House is known for a dining experience that is satisfying all around. Guests who return often tell us that these are a few of their favorites.

Wine Selection

Erickson Special Steak. This mainstay on our menu is always in demand. A Delmonico Cut Ribeye from the heart of the Prime Rib, available in petite and king cuts, is grilled to your liking. We use only fresh, hand-cut meats — never frozen — for all our meat entrees. This is part of the secret to the Erickson Special’s popularity, but expert preparation is also key.

Seafood Selections. In addition to our high quality meats, Hi Point offers a wide selection of seafood entrees, including both ocean and fresh water seafood. Each dish is prepared to perfection and served with hearty side dishes. If you can’t decide between meat and seafood, you can create your own mixed entrée and have The Best of Both Worlds.

A Generous Salad Bar. Our salad bar provides a satisfying start to your meal. You’ll always find homemade salads, such as pasta salad, kidney bean salad or our famous sauerkraut, among the offerings. The tasty dressings include French, Bleu Cheese, Thousand Island and the always popular French Roquefort. Regular items on the salad bar typically include lettuce and all the fixings, beets, fresh produce, fresh salads, cheese and crackers and more. We keep a watchful eye on the salad bar to ensure that the supply is plentiful and everything is served at the peak of freshness.

The Old Fashioned. Hi Point offers a great selection of wines and cocktails, but Leif’s Old Fashioneds are known throughout the area as something special. Leif isn’t sharing his secrets, so it’s probably best to just come taste one for yourself.

As a family-run operation, Hi Point Steak House is able to maintain the high standards of quality that Bob Erickson first set forth in 1952. We know that reputations are built on consistent quality, and we are finicky about every detail. Although we don’t expect you to be disappointed, Leif and Melanie urge you to call it to their attention if any aspect of your dining experience does not meet your expectations. We want every guest to leave here happy.

Our quality commitment begins with our ingredients. To produce the best and most flavorful dishes, you must begin with good ingredients. Our hand-cut meats are fresh, never frozen, and are all choice or prime. Our inventory of ingredients is carefully monitored and always checked for freshness and quality. Even our beverages must pass the test in order to be considered suitable for our menu.

The attention to quality continues in the kitchen, where every dish is prepared with care by Chef Anthony and our experienced staff. Although Leif will bring his personal touch to the grill from time to time, our kitchen staff is fully trained to deliver meals that are up to Hi Point’s high standards. Afternoons are spent preparing fresh, homemade salads and side dishes for the evening meal.

We know that service can make or break even the most well prepared meal. You’ll often see the owners, Leif and Melanie Erickson, in the serving area during dinner hours, checking on guests and ensuring their satisfaction. This dedication extends to the members of our staff, most of whom have worked here for more than a decade.

Hi Point takes great pride in the extensive training of all staff members, including bartenders, waitstaff, hosts and kitchen staff. Many of our staff members are cross-trained so that they understand the entire operation of the restaurant. You will find a warm welcome and attentive service from every one of them. We’re proud of our excellent staff, and we also view them as members of our extended family.

Family-Friendly, Smoke-Free Dining
